ABSTRACT

In optimizing organizational success, related factors and processes including Human Resource (HR) should be optimized. With constantly changing global scenario, more specific theoretical models of HR process is required to provide a concrete HR base, which in turn affect the organizational performance. Consideration of temporal impact in explaining the linkage between Human Resource Management (HRM) and the organizational success is important as every process evolves into a different oneover time. This study attempts to identify time as a significant factor in linking HRperformance attributes such as HR efficiency, experience etc., to the organizational success.A multilevel Poisson regression model is applied to NBA Team’s success and player’s performance attributes to identify the temporal impact. The study found momentous impact of time as well as identifiedplayer’s efficiency, total games played, minutes per game and their time interactions as significant factors behind the team success.
