DEMOCRATISATION DU SPORT AU BENIN :
Une étude sociopolitique du sport de 1990 à 2010
ABSTRACT
Benin republic had adopted in the years 70 to 90, a centralized organization completely controlled by the socialist state without getting any notable results at international plan. Since 1990, the settlement of democratic state brought us to set free the sport on to the federal model and the liberal association. How do actors assume this change and that are the impacts on the function and the sporty results? By considering in one hand, that in an organization, the change leads to redistribution of roles by actors to satisfy their own interests, in the other hands, that the sport has long represented an important political consideration (Gouda, 1997) this research aims to understand, by focusing on the sociological approach of the organization, how the deciders imply this change in their policies.

RÉSUMÉ
Le Bénin avait adopté dans les années 1970 à 1990, une organisation sportive centralisée entièrement contrôlée par l’Etat socialiste sans que cela produise des résultats notables au plan international. Depuis 1990, l’instauration d’un Etat démocratique s’est traduite par la démocratisation du sport sur le modèle fédéral et la libre association. Comment les acteurs assument-ils ce changement et quelles en sont les incidences sur le fonctionnement et les résultats sportifs ? En considérant, d’une part, que dans une organisation, le changement conduit à une redistribution des cartes par les acteurs pour satisfaire leurs intérêts propres, d’autre part, que le sport a longtemps représenté un enjeu politique important (Gouda, 1997), cette recherche vise à comprendre, en s’appuyant sur l’approche sociologique des organisations, comment les décideurs intègrent ce changement dans leurs politiques.
